She was the only Cowgirl to play and start in all 20 games. In just one season, she put herself in the UW record books by assisting on eight goals tying her for the single-season Cowgirl record. O'Reilly also scored two goals on the season the first against Buffalo and the second against No. 17 New Mexico. With her eight assists and two goals she led UW in total points with 12 on the season. O'Reilly also led the Cowgirls in shots taken with 51 and shots on goal with 22. For her excellent first season as a Cowgirl she earned Second-Team All-Mountain West Conference honors. She also earned her first UW letter award. High School: O'Reilly is the first Australian native to play soccer at the University of Wyoming. O'Reilly was named to the 2009 and 2010 Australian Schoolgirls National team. She was named the team MVP for their tour of Japan and Korea in 2009. O'Reilly was selected to the all-regional team and all-state teams and also named team captain for both squads. She was a part of the NSW Metro Team for three years and captain of the NSW Metro team that won the 2007 National Championship. At the Hills Sports High School, O'Reilly was a part of the 4-time NSWCHS tournament championships. Personal: She was born on Jan. 5, 1992 in Penrith, Australia. She is the daughter of Tracey and Les O'Reilly and has three siblings, Kyleanne, Leslie and Jack. She is undecided on a college major. |
