High School: Parkhurst was a four-year varsity letterman at EHS and received the San Diego Hall of Champions Breitbard Certificate of Athletic Achievement Award in 2007. She was named to the 2006/20007 All Valley League First Team and was also named EHS varsity MVP. This season, she is ranked #1 in all of San Diego County for goals scored with 20; she has eight assists and was named team captain. She has also lettered in track and field her junior and senior seasons.

Personal: She was born on July 21, 1990 in Escondido Calif. She is the daughter of Cathy and Scott Parkhurst and has one brother named Kyle. She plans on majoring in communications.
