2007: Scarcliff defended the Cowgirl net seven times for the second straight year allowing 10 goals in 630 minutes. She carried a 1.43 GAA and made 26 saves. She is on pace to finish in the top three all-time for goalies in Goals Against Average. 2006: Scarcliff tended the net for the Cowgirls seven times in 2006, six of which she started. She made 47 saves while only giving up 10 goals. She carried a 1.44 GAA and earned the MWC Scholar-Athlete Award. As a member of the Colorado Rush U-19 club program, she won the U.S. Soccer National Club Championship in the summer of 2006. 2005: Scarcliff had a solid freshman year in the Cowgirl net. She split time as the starting goalkeeper for the Cowgirls and finished with a record of 5-2-1. She allowed 0.93 goals a game, the best single season GAA in school history. She played in eight games, started seven, made 15 saves and allowed just six goals. She earned one shutout on the year when the Cowgirls beat Charleston Southern 3-0 during the first game of the season. She excelled academically and was named MWC Scholar Athlete and was an Academic All-Conference selection. High School: Scarcliff was the starting goalkeeper at Ralston Valley High School all four year's of her high school career. She compiled an overall record of 61-6-4 and a league record of 35-2-0. Over that span, she allowed just 47 goals and recorded 46 shutouts. Ralston Valley won their league three times in her career. She was named All-State Honorable Mention following her sophomore, junior and senior years and was named First Team All-Conference following her junior and senior years. She was a three-time letterwinner, a team captain and a four-time academic letter winner (4.0 GPA). She was a National Honor Society Member and was the Senior Class President. She played club soccer for the Colorado Rush, which won five state titles. Personal: She was born January 25, 1987 in Denver, Colo. She is the daughter of Shelia and the late Ian Scarcliff. She has two older siblings, Devin and Erin. She is majoring in physical education teaching. |
