Wyoming Cowgirl senior Amanda Lathrop was named Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer First Team All-Conference on Tuesday evening. Lathrop was a Second Team All-Conference selection last season. She led the Cowgirls in goals, assists, and shots this season.

"Amanda is very deserving of this honor. I am very pleased that the other coaches in the conference recognized her talents and that she is well deserving of being First Team All-Conference," said UW head coach Danny Sanchez.

Lathrop set career and single season records in her four years as a Cowgirl. She is the all-time career leader in assists with 15, and second in career goals, points, and shots. Earlier in the season Lathrop set the single season assists record with eight, and is second in single season points with 24. Lathrop started in every game in her UW career.

"Amanda re-wrote the record books and will go down as one of the greatest players in Wyoming history," Sanchez said.
