Well, this week has been a great week for our team. We won our first conference game against Air Force, 1-0 on Friday night. The first half was probably some of the best soccer we have played this year, until we added another non-conference win against Northern Arizona on Sunday. The score ended up being 4-0. We all played very well, and the best part about the game is that Curt gets to get rid of his hair. Finally we scored more then one goal in the first half, in fact we scored three. Our record improved to 7-3-4 over the weekend.
Next weekend is going to be our test, UNLV and San Diego. Right now we are at top of the conference and are planning on staying at the top. Hopefully everyone can stay healthy and injury free on our way to the conference tournament and then on.
After the past week all of our confidence has been boosted and will continue on to this weekend. Our defense has played strong and together, we are using our midfield and our forwards are unstoppable. Let's continue on the road to victory and prove that last year was not a fluke and we are for real. I am very proud of our team, and I am excited to move on with our season.
