FRESHMAN (2011-12): In singles action, Espinosa went 6-7 during the fall. She earned her first career victory over Lauren Pick of Colorado State (10/7/11). Finished with a 2-1 record at the ITA Mountain Regional Tournament. Saw limited action in doubles play going 1-2 with two different playing partners. Played just one singles match and one doubles match in the spring earning victories in both. For the year, she went 7-7 in singles and 2-2 in doubles play.

HIGH SCHOOL: A National Junior Women's Champion since 2004. She was a finalist in the Central American Games in 2010, while being recognized as the Tennis Athlete of the Year by Cable Onda Sports Award. In 2009, she was selected as the Best Female Athlete by the Panamanian Tennis Federation.

PERSONAL: Born August 5, 1993 in Panama City, Panama. She is the daughter of Edwin Espinosa and Alma de Espinosa. Has three siblings, Anabelle, Valerie and Adriana. Currently majoring in marketing.
