Wyoming Earns Fourth Conference Win

FRESHMAN (2011-12): Played in 14 matches during the fall going 6-8 in singles action. She earned her first collegiate victory over Emily Carbone of Arkansas (9/23/11). Had a three match winning streak. In doubles play, she recorded a 3-6 mark with three playing partners. During the spring, she went 14-6 to finish with a 20-14 record playing at the number five position. In league play, she had a 5-2 record with victories over UNLV, Boise State, New Mexico, Colorado State and Air Force. Parizher won 9 of 11 matches to begin. She went 14-17 for the year in doubles play with four different playing partners. She and Silviya Zhelyazkova recorded a 10-9 overall record and a 5-2 mark in Mountain West play at the number three position.

HIGH SCHOOL: A letterwinner in tennis while attending Chaminade College Prep. During her junior year, she helped her team to a Mission League Championship and was named the tennis MVP. Parizher was ranked 37th in the state of California, 40th in the Southwest Region and 163rd nationally. She was ranked a four-star recruit by Tennisrecruiting.net. She was coached by Vazhgen Zaghian.

PERSONAL: Born January 5, 1993 in Los Angeles, Calif. Parizher is the daughter of Alexander and Alisa Parizher, and has a sister Jacqueline. She is majoring in physiology.
