This Season: One of several returning starters to the team. Has made tremendous strides in her growth as a tennis player. A very coachable athlete, who brings a strong work ethic to the court which will help solidify the Cowgirl line-up. Had a solid fall, finishing with a 4-4 singles record. After starting out 0-2 in doubles play, she and her partner Michelle Brown went 5-2 to close out the fall 5-4 overall. Qualified for the Central Regional Tournament in both singles and doubles play.

Junior (2005-06): Continued to improve in the Cowgirl system with a singles record of 4-3, including wins in her final two matches in the fall. Senko also had a 2-4 mark in doubles action with two different partners in the fall. She went 7-14 in singles play in the spring with her biggest win over Sarah Seltsam of Colorado State (4/1/06). She completed the season with a overall record of 11-17 playing in the five and six positions. In doubles play, she finished 11-15 overall with two playing partners. Earned Academic All-MWC honors.

Sophomore (2004-05): For the fall season, she went 4-6 in singles play and 3-6 in doubles action. Rebounded from a tough start to begin the spring going 5-4 in her last nine matches and 3-3 in conference play. Completed her sophomore campaign with a record of 13-16 playing in the four, five and six positions. Played with three different doubles partners and went 8-22 overall. She earned MWC Scholar-Athlete honors.

Freshman (2003-04): She opened up her freshman campaign with a solid 4-5 overall singles record and a 5-5 mark in doubles play with partner Gwen Moser. Recorded her first Division I win on Sept. 19, 2003 against Colby Fannin of Montana. Closed out fall play by winning her final three matches. Senko opened up the spring season by winning two of her first three matches. She finished the year by posting a 12-19 record. In doubles play, Senko finished with a 12-16 record while playing with three different partners.

High School: A regional singles champion in both 2001 and 2003 and a second place finisher in 2002 at Putnam City North High School. As a junior and senior, helped her team to a record three Oklahoma 5A State Championships, along with regional and conference championships. Her other 2003 career highlights also included winning the 5A State Singles Title, the 5A All-State Tournament singles and doubles titles, along with being named Player of the Year by the Oklahoma Coaches Association. She placed fourth in the state in 2002 and seventh in 2001. Senko ranked in the Top 15 in the Missouri Valley Section and 250 nationally, while ranking in the Top 10 in the Texas Section before moving to Oklahoma. In the fall of 2002, she finished fourth out of 16 individuals at the Missouri Valley Sweet Sixteen Sectional Tournament. In 2001, she also received Player of the Year honors for her high school team and received the Iron Man Award for the teams best three-set record. A four-year letterwinner in tennis, she was named team captain her senior season. Senko was coached by David Diefenderfer. An excellent student, she was a National Honor Society member, on the honor roll and earned the Presidents Academic Award.

Personal: Amy is the daughter of Dave and Bette Senko. Born September 21, 1985 in Dunedin, Florida. Has two siblings, Katelyn and Stacy. A speech language & health science, speech pathology and audio major and is also going for a minor in psychology.
