LARAMIE, Wyo. -

The University of Wyoming tennis team lost to Mountain West Conference rival Brigham Young Friday in Provo, Utah by a score of 7-0.

The Cowgirls lost all six singles matches but won a match in doubles action. The Wyoming doubles team of freshmen Toni Terhaar and Jen Hancock defeated BYU's team of Sheenagh Stewart and Lindsy Porter 8-6 at the No. 3 slot.

With the loss Wyoming's record fell to 4-13 overall and 0-6 in the Mountain West. The Cowgirls will return to action on Saturday when they face Utah at 11:00 a.m. in Provo.
