TULSA, Okla. -

Senior Corina Lazar wrapped up the 2007 fall season for the Wyoming Cowgirl Tennis team, on Friday, at the Central Regional Tournament in Tulsa Okla.

In main draw singles play, Lazar fell to the number three seeded Imke Reimers of Nebraska in three sets, 6-7, 6-2, 6-2. She finishes fall play with a 6-4 singles mark.

"This was a very tough match against a good player for Corina," said head coach Krissy Hall. "Overall, I was pleased with how we played this fall. We have a few things to work on before we begin in the spring, but that's what the off-season is for."

The Cowgirls will resume play Feb. 1, 2008 against the Washington State Cougars in Colorado Springs.
