Junior Sarah Summerfield ended the run for the Wyoming Cowgirl Tennis Team at the 2008 Wilson ITA Central Region Tournament, on Friday, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

"I felt we had some of our biggest wins in the toughest tournament we have played this fall," said UW assistant coach Dean Clower. "This week was a good measure of where we are and need to improve as a team."

Summerfield fell short in her opportunity to advance to the round of 16 in the main draw with a 6-4, 6-1 loss against the 11th seeded Lutfiana Budiharto of Wichita State.

The Cowgirls are scheduled to begin the spring season, on January 31, against Oral Roberts.
