Wyoming Tennis Still Competing In Central Regionals

Tulsa, Okla. - On Thursday and Friday, at the Omni Hotels Central Region Tennis Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, three members of the Wyoming Cowgirl Tennis team continued doubles and singles play. In a late match on Thursday night, the doubles team of Patricia Chien and Kati Gyulai earned a victory over Alli Hansen and Ellen Svensson of Utah 8-6. On Friday in the round of 32, they came up short to Urska Juric and Katia Seveikova of Missouri, 8-1. In singles back draw play, senior Kati Gyulai fell to Kristen Balk by default, while Yuliani Santi also fell in her match to Stephanie Ginsberg, of Denver, 6-1, 6-2.
The Cowgirls will continue play at the Central Regionals tomorrow with
doubles back draw play.
