LARAMIE, Wyo. -

Wyoming's Jenny Bowman is this week's Mountain West Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Bowman, a sophomore from Sacramento, Calif., went 2-0 in individual competition and also helped bring home a doubles victory. Against Army, Bowman beat Annie Collier, 6-0, 6-1, at the No. 1 position and teamed with Jennifer Hancock to defeat Collier and Ali Rohr, 8-3. In Wyoming's win over #70 Missouri, Bowman easily beat Katka Sevcikova, the No. 8 player in the Central Region, in straight sets (6-1, 6-2). This is the first player of the week award in Bowman's career.
