UW This Season: One of four returning starters and seniors for the Cowgirls this season...brings a wealth of experience to the court and continues to be a contributor to the teams success. Junior (2006): Played in 27 matches and 95 games on the season with starts in 18 of those...averaged 2.23 kills, which was fifth on the team, and almost one dig per game...hit .165 (212-98-691) along with recording 56 total blocks (.59 bpg)...also had ten service aces and seven assists...in conference matches, she averaged 2.56 kills and .56 digs, while adding 41 block assists...finished with a career high 17 kills and seven total blocks against BYU (10/12/06)...recorded four block assists against Air Force (9/28/06) and UNLV (10/7/06)...had a season high ten digs and three service aces against New Mexico State (9/7/06)...finished with 14 kills and 44 attempts against New Orleans (9/2/06)...her previous season high was nine kills and eight digs against North Texas (8/25/06)...also had nine kills against UTPA (8/26/06)...recorded double-figures in kills eight times and digs once during the season...needs only 32 kills to reach 600 for her career...earned Academic All-Conference honors. Sophomore (2005): Started in 17 of 28 matches and played in all 98 games during the season for the Cowgirls...averaged 2.12 kills, which was fourth on the team, and 2.41 points per game...recorded 49 block assists and 43 digs on the year...tied a season high with 13 kills, while hitting .303 (13-3-33) against New Mexico (10/20/05)...followed that up with a career high .538 (7-0-13) hitting percentage and two assists against Air Force (10/22/05)...recorded 12 kills and 45 attempts against Florida A&M (9/17/05)...reached double-figures in kills eight times on the season...an Academic All-MWC and Scholar Athlete selection for the second time in her career. Freshman (2004): Played in 26 matches with 13 starts during the season...made her first career start against UTSA (9/3/04)...averaged 1.70 kills per game and 1.07 digs per game...recorded 40 block assists and 16 service aces...recorded the first double-double of her career as she had a break out night against Gonzaga (9/18/04)...she finished with 15 kills, 11 digs, six block assists, four service aces and a .520 (15-2-25) hitting percentage which eclipsed all of her previous marks...a few matches later, she broke her career high with 16 kills and 11 digs against New Mexico (9/24/04)...recorded double-figures in kills in five matches during the season...a first time Academic All-Conference and Scholar-Athlete selection. High School: A three-time All-Conference selection at Wheatland High School...also earned All-State honors as both a junior and senior...a four-year letterwinner, her team won the Wyoming State 3A Championship in 2000...also lettered in basketball and track and field...a three-time All-State and All-Conference selection in basketball, while helping her team to a state championship during the 2000-01 season...was named the 2002 High Jump and Long Jump Champion in track and field...coached in high school by Kim Davis...awarded the Milward L. Simpson award in 2004...an excellent student, she was a member of the National Honor Society, along with being a member of the honor roll throughout high school...also very active in FFA and 4-H Club.
