UW This Season: A player that can come in and compete for some playing time...adds depth to the setter position. High School: A two-time All-League selection while attending Lakewood High School...was also a three-year starter at the setter position, along with being a team captain for three years in a row...her team finished 11-1 overall in league play to win their first ever League Championship, along with making it in to the semifinals of the Division I-AA CIF-Southern Section before falling to Redondo in 2007...it was the third year in a row that the team made in to the semi-finals of the CIF tournament...won the State CIF Division I Championship over Nevada Union after winning the Regional Championship, while finishing with an overall record of 30-7...was named to the All-Tournament Team and given the Sportsmanship Award as well...during her career, she earned Second Team All-CIF honors, along with numerous All-Tournament Team awards and Athlete of the Week honors...was coached in high school by Mike Wadley and Steve Lewis...played club volleyball with the Mizuno Long Beach Goldenwest Volleyball Club for the past six years...was the starting setter and team captain...an excellent student, she has earned several awards during her career.
