UW - This Season: A returning two-year starter for the Cowgirls...returns this season as the team's only senior, and a player with the most experience...an excellent athlete...has made tremendous improvements, both offensively and defensively, during her career at Wyoming.

Junior (2000): Started in 31 of 32 matches for the Cowgirls, including starts in the last 24 matches...played in all 117 games...finished second on the team in blocks with 115 (.98 bpg) and fifth in kills with 225 (1.92 kpg)...also added 150 digs to average 1.29 per game...finished second on the team in service aces with 31 and hit .172 on the year...was tied for third in conference matches in service aces...knotched seven double-figure kill matches and three double-figure matches in kills and digs...had a career high 20 kills and 32 attempts against Weber State (10/16/00)...an Academic All-Conference and Scholar-Athlete Selection for the second year in a row.

Sophomore (1999): In 1999, started in 24 of 30 matches for the Cowgirls...played in 106 games...averaged 1.91 kills per game, which was fourth on the team...was second on the team in blocks with 93, averaging one per game...tallied 138 digs (1.34 dpg) on the year...averaged .27 service aces per game on the season...finished the year with a .162 hitting percentage...had a season high 16 kills, a career high ten block assists and hit .414 against Montana State (9/4/99)...an Academic All-Mountain West Conference and Scholar-Athlete selection in 1999.

Freshman (1998): Made her first collegiate start against Florida (9/18/98)...saw action in 28 of 30 matches as a true freshman...finished the season with 42 kills, averaging .69 per game...was fifth on the team in hitting percentage at .154...had 19 total blocks in those 28 matches, along with 28 digs...finished with a season high nine kills and a career high 14 digs against Loyola-Marymount (9/19/98).

High School: A First Team All-League selection at Sacred Heart Preparatory...led her team to the CCS Division Five Championship as a senior, and the CIF Division Five Championship as both a sophomore and junior...during her junior and senior seasons, earned First Team All-League Santa Clara County, San Mateo County and Girls Private School League honors...selected the Most Inspirational Player, along with earning Player of the Week honors...chose Wyoming over several schools.

Personal: One of three daughters of Bruce Lau and Honore Lau...born April 8, 1980 in Burlingame, Calif...majoring in anthropology.
