UW-This Season: One of the top players at her position after earning All-Mountain West Conference honors a year ago...a three-year starter, she is the Cowgirls' leading honors candidate this season...an intense and tough competitor, who will be a large part of the Cowgirls success in the league...she will be relied on both offensively and defensively, along with her leadership...will look to move up in several career categories in the Wyoming record book. Junior (2002): An All-Mountain West Conference Volleyball Team selection for the first time in her career...started in all 31 matches and 114 games during the season for the Cowgirls...led the team in both kills (4.35 kpg) and digs (2.98 dpg)...hit .267 (496-189-1149) for the year, which ranked 14th in the MWC...also ranked first in overall and conference matches in kills and sixth in digs...finished third on the team in service aces with 30 (.26 sapg)...recorded a career high 28 kills in a five game victory over Weber State (10/21/02) and hit a career high .667 (6-0-7) against Texas Southern (9/21/02)...tallied a match high 25 kills and 20 digs in the victory over Marquette (8/31/02), while hitting .367 (25-7-49) in that same match...had 27 double-figure matches in kills and 19 double-figure matches in digs...recorded 19 double-doubles on the season, including a stretch of seven in a row, and has 34 in her career...has 56 double-figure kill matches and 43 double-figure dig matches in her career...earned Most Valuable Player and All-Tournament Team honors at the Chippewa Classic and Big Red Invitational...was also named to the All-Tournament Team at the War Eagle Invitational and Islander Classic...she moved into sixth place in school history with 1034 career kills and tenth place in career digs with 837...needs six service aces to move into tenth place in school history in that category...with 15 kills against Brigham Young (11/15/92), she reached the 1,000 career mark in kills and is only the seventh player in school history to do so...she also moved into fourth place on the Cowgirls' single-season list with 496 kills and eighth on the single-season digs list with 340. Sophomore (2001): Played in 20 of 24 matches during the season for the Cowgirls, including starts in 18...was in 70 of the 88 games during the year...finished second on the team in kills (3.41 kpg) and digs (2.36 dpg)...ranked tenth in the conference in kills...hit .259 (239-94-560) for season, which was also second on the team...had a season high 27 kills and 56 attempts against St. Mary's (9/22/01)...notched double-figures in kills 12 times in 2001, seven times in digs, along with five double-doubles...earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Golden Gate Classic in San Francisco and the Cowgirl Classic in Laramie. Freshman (2000): Had 30 starts on the season, while playing in all 32 matches as a true freshman...played in 115 of 117 games...her first collegiate start came against Oregon (9/1/00)...led the team in digs with 332 (2.89 dpg), which was fourth in the conference...finished third on the team in kills with 299, averaging 2.60 per game...had 33 service aces, which was first on the team and ninth in the conference...tallied 17 double-figure kill matches and ten double-figure matches in kills and digs...had a season high 19 kills against Wisconsin-Green Bay (9/16/00), plus a career high 27 digs against New Mexico (11/4/00). High School: A five-year letterwinner in volleyball at Argyle Secondary in North Vancouver, British Columbia...earned All-Conference and All-Regional honors twice...in 1998, she helped her team to a conference championship and a fifth place finish in the region...was a member of Team B.C., which won the Western Elite Championship and a Gold Medal...was the MVP of the same tournament...an excellent athlete, she also earned several letters in soccer...her team won Conference, Regional and Provincial Championships during her career...she was coached by Scott Graham...chose Wyoming over several schools.
