UW This Season: One of several returning letterwinners...gained valuable experience in her first season with the team.

Freshman (2007): Played in 17 matches with six starts and 44 games in her first year...started and played in the first match of her career against Toledo (8/31/07)...finished with three kills, along with a career high one block solo and six block assists in that match...recorded 34 total blocks (.77 bpg) and 27 kills (.61 kpg) on the year...finished with a career high seven kills and a 1.00 (7-0-7) hitting percentage against Air Force (11/16/07)...had a career high three digs and tied her career high with six block assists against UNLV (11/22/07)...recorded four kills and hit .182 (4-2-11) against St. Peter's (9/8/07).

High School: A two-time First Team South Puget Sound League selection during her career at Spanaway Lake High School...as a senior, she was also selected to the Washington State Coaches 3A/4A All-State Team and was named the Tacoma News Tribune Player of the Year...in 2006, she helped her team to a sixth place finish at the state tournament and a fourth place finish during her sophomore season...a four-year letterwinner in volleyball, she was a two-time team captain as well...was coached in high school by Ali Sheneman...also earned three letters in basketball...an excellent student, she was a member of the National Honor Society and on the honor roll throughout high school...played Club Volleyball with the Puget Sound Gold 18 Team which was coached by Travis Sessler.

Personal: Full name is Chantilly H. Watson...born May 6, 1989 in Honolulu, Hawaii..the daughter of Matthew and Lila Watson...has three sisters, Crystal, Chloe and Gloria...majoring in communication.
