UW This Season: A three-year letterwinner with the Cowgirl program...one of four Cowgirl seniors, she adds depth and experience to the libero position. Junior (2006): Played in 16 matches with one start and 31 games on the year...averaged almost one dig per game, which was sixth on the team...had a season high 12 digs against North Texas (8/25/06)...needs only 62 digs to reach 500 for her career. Sophomore (2005): Played in 27 matches and 95 games with three starts during the season for the Cowgirls...started in her first match of the season against Northern Colorado (9/3/05)...averaged 3.07 digs per game, which led the team, and 26 service aces, which was fifth on the team...in conference matches, she averaged 3.35 digs, which ranked seventh in the league...finished with a career high 26 digs against Utah Valley State (10/14/05), which eclipsed her previous high of 17...finished with a career high seven service aces against Prairie View A&M (9/9/05), while recording two assists...reached double-digits in digs 14 times during the season, which included a stretch of six matches in a row. Freshman (2004): Played in 13 matches and 45 games in her first season with the program...started in the first match of her career against San Diego State (10/30/04)...averaged 2.69 digs per contest, which was third on the team...recorded a season high 17 digs against UNLV (11/18/04)...finished with three service aces and two assists against San Diego State (10/30/04)...finished with 14 digs against Idaho State (9/2/04) and UTSA (9/3/04)...recorded double-figures in digs six times during the season...named Academic All-MWC for the first time in her career. High School: A three-time Seamount League Most Valuable Player and All-Area selection by the News Tribune while attending Washington High School...as a senior, she was also selected to the WIAA State 3A West Volleyball Team, while leading her team to a 13th place finish in the state...a two-time team captain as both a junior and senior, she was also named her team's Most Valuable player in those same years...was also selected The News Tribune volleyball player to watch twice in her career...a three year letterwinner in volleyball, she also earned letters in basketball...coached in high school by Paul Souza...an excellent student, she was involved in several activities including Debate and Student Council...played club for KJVBC which was coached by Dawn Colston.
