Collins, Colo. They will see the Brigham Young Cougars on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m.
About Brigham Young: Wyoming will face the Brigham Young Cougars, on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m., at the MWC Tournament. The Cougars are currently 20-6 overall and 12-2 in the conference. They are led by Nina Puikkonen, who is averaging 4.14 kills and 1.76 blocks. This is the 46th meeting between the two teams, Brigham Young leads the series 42-3. The Cougars have defeated the Cowgirls both times they have played this season. Brigham Young is coached by Elaine Michaelis, who is in her 39th season with the Cougars.

Friehauf Moves Into First Place In Career Blocks: Senior middle blocker Melody Friehauf continues her move into the Wyoming Top 10 in blocks and kills during the 2000 season. On Tuesday, Oct. 24 against Denver University, Friehauf overtook first place in career blocks with a match high 11 blocks. With 167 on the season, she currently has 614 in her illustrious career. She overtook Kristina Dzelme, who previously held the mark with 573. She has also moved into the top ten in kills at number three with 1,285 kills. Friehuaf, from Windsor, Colo., is a three-year starter and two-time All-Conference Player. She was named the MWC Player of the Week twice, and earned All-Tournament honors three times.
